Background / Samples
Planing for Transistions involves researching the costs and benefits of possibly performing an ERP Transition or a Technical Transistion.
ERP Transitions entail implementing new business process as a result of implementing a new system that supports that. Because of that, end-users require training in the new system and process.
Technical Transitions result in the same business process and system functionality in place that was in place before the transition, only the underlying technology supporting that has changed. As a result, end-users require no training in the new system and process because functionality remains unchanged.
